A one-minute film created in one day by Katie Hanning (concept, performance), Caitlin Rowley (performance, video editing, music) and Jon England (videography, performance) in Porthleven, Cornwall. Shroud began with the finding of the bathtub in the discarded rubble of a home renovation near the studio where we were working, and used this and other objects to explore ideas about Porthleven’s maritime history and meteorology.
The final edit of the film was projected back into the bathtub which appears in it while the soundtrack was improvised live as it was rerecorded.
